Conventional sanding discs clog quickly and lose cutting efficiency, but these Draper 61821 150mm mesh sanding discs are engineered to maintain performance up to ten times longer than standard discs. The mesh base is constructed from aluminium oxide resin-bonded to the mesh structure, which allows sanding debris to pass through rather than accumulate on the surface. This open construction also enables highly efficient dust extraction when paired with a suitable extractor, keeping the work area cleaner and the disc cutting freely throughout its working life. The hook and loop backing system makes disc changes quick and straightforward, and because the mesh design requires no alignment of dust extraction holes, time spent swapping abrasives is kept to a minimum. The discs are suitable for sanding and finishing wood, metal, aluminium alloy, painted surfaces, plastic and fillers, making them a versatile choice across a range of workshop and bodyshop applications. Each disc is 150mm in diameter and carries a 120 grit rating, compatible with all 150mm random orbital sanders fitted with a hook and loop backing pad. Supplied in a pack of ten.
