Sanding uneven surfaces or working through coatings demands abrasives that hold their grain under sustained pressure. These 150mm aluminium oxide sanding discs are resin bonded to deliver improved grain adhesion, anti-static qualities and long-lasting high performance across demanding finishing tasks. The heavy-duty E-Weight backing paper reinforces each disc for durability, enabling it to withstand the toughest jobs without delaminating or losing form. Six pre-punched 8mm holes are positioned to improve dust extraction during sanding, keeping the work surface clearer and the disc cutting freely for longer. The hook and loop backing provides secure adhesion to compatible backing pads whilst allowing fast disc changes between grits or when a disc reaches the end of its working life. These discs are suitable for sanding and finishing wood, metal, aluminium alloy, painted surfaces, plastic and fillers, and are compatible with all 150mm random orbital sanders fitted with hook and loop backing pads. Supplied in a pack of 10 at 40 grit.

These Draper 54887 discs are designed to attach directly to any 150mm random orbital sander fitted with a hook and loop backing pad.
