Sanding discs that clog prematurely waste time and increase material costs on production finishing work. Draper's 58113 gold sanding discs address this through a calcium stearate treatment applied to the aluminium oxide abrasive, which delivers self-sharpening and anti-clogging performance across extended use. The abrasive is resin bonded to heavy-duty D-Weight backing paper, providing the durability required to withstand demanding sanding and finishing tasks without premature breakdown. The hook and loop backing system offers reliable adhesion to compatible sanding pads whilst enabling fast disc changes between grits, reducing downtime during workflow. Eight pre-punched 8mm dust extraction holes are evenly distributed across the disc face to improve dust removal during sanding, helping to maintain a cleaner working surface and prolong disc life. At 125mm diameter and 180 grit, these discs are suited to sanding and finishing wood, metals including ferrous alloys, painted surfaces, varnish, plastic and fillers. They are compatible with all 125mm random orbit sanders fitted with a hook and loop backing pad, including Draper Stock No. 58097 and 89522. Supplied as a pack of 10 discs.
