These 100 x 610mm cloth sanding belts use aluminium oxide grain that is resin bonded to the backing, providing efficient resistance and long-lasting performance throughout the working life of each belt. The electrostatic sand planting and open coat aluminium oxide grain work together to aid chip removal and heat dissipation during use, keeping the working surface cleaner and reducing the risk of heat build-up that can damage both the belt and the workpiece. A special butt joint construction minimises the effect of vibration across the work surface, ensuring a smooth and even finish on every pass. The backing is an X-weight polycotton cloth, a specification that makes the belt both flexible and durable. This backing enhances the intensity of loading and allows the belt to be used across different pressure applications without delamination or distortion. The 120 grit designation makes these belts well suited to intermediate sanding and finishing work. These belts are compatible with all 100 x 610mm belt sanders and are suitable for use on wood, metal, aluminium alloy, painted surfaces, plastic and fillers. Each pack contains five belts, supplied by Draper.
