The Laserliner 082.261E VideoPocket Extra addresses this directly with an 8 mm waterproof camera head mounted on a 1-metre probe, delivering live footage to a 4.3-inch colour display at a resolution of 480 x 272 pixels. Six powerful LEDs provide object illumination across ten adjustable brightness levels, ensuring consistent visibility regardless of ambient light conditions. The camera captures imagery at 640 x 480 pixels with a 65-degree field of view and a depth of focus between 3 and 8 cm. A 2x digital zoom, adjustable in 25% increments, allows close examination of details without repositioning the probe. The image alignment feature and compare image function enable the user to overlay a saved reference image against the live feed, making it straightforward to identify changes or defects over time. Images are saved in JPEG format to a Micro-SD card supporting up to 32 GB of storage, and data transfer is handled via a Micro USB port. The unit is powered by four 1.5 V AA batteries and weighs 366 g including batteries, with overall dimensions of 85 mm x 155 mm x 32 mm. The VideoPocket Extra is supplied with a TopClips accessory, batteries and a softbag for storage and transport.
