The Draper 28196 set also features machined flats on each extractor, allowing a spanner or wrench to be used as an alternative drive method where space is limited. Select the extractor size that fits as closely as possible over the damaged fastener head, apply steady counter-clockwise (anti-clockwise) pressure, and the extractor's grip geometry bites into the fastener to turn it free.
