Connecting air tool lines and fittings requires reliable threaded adaptors that hold pressure without seeping. The Draper 70860 provides a 1/4" BSP steel screw adaptor with tapered male threads, supplied as a pack of two to cover initial installation and a spare. Each adaptor is manufactured from steel and features tapered male threads to the 1/4" BSP standard, ensuring a secure, pressure-retaining seal when threaded into compatible female BSP ports on air lines, compressors, or tool couplings. The hex body measures 14 x 5.5mm, allowing a standard spanner to be applied for controlled tightening without risk of rounding. Overall length is 53mm.With a thread size of 1/4" BSP, these adaptors are suited to the quarter-inch fittings common across workshop air systems in the UK. The pack-of-two format means a replacement is immediately to hand should a fitting be damaged during installation or routine maintenance.
