Routing a hose or loom is only half the job; keeping it fixed, cushioned and off sharp edges is the other half.
JCS describes its P-clips as suited to the most challenging environments, and the PCSH8BG carries that specification at 8mm closed diameter: a TPE160 high-temperature liner rated -50C to +160C, UV and ozone resistant, wrapped in a ribbed band that bolts flush through a 6.6mm M6 fixing hole. Fixings are not supplied - pair it with your standard M6 hardware.
The band is 18/8 marine-quality 304 stainless steel (EN 1.4301, BS304), the right specification for outdoor, wet and corrosive environments - and because JCS makes the zinc and stainless versions to identical dimensions, you can switch material without changing your mounting. With the TPE160 liner rated to +160C, it is the version to specify where heat builds - engine compartments, exhaust-adjacent runs and hot plant. Stores tip: label the bin with the closed diameter (8mm) and bolt size together.
Also available - the standard liner version (PCSR8BG); the zinc plated version (PCZH8BG); the 6mm size (PCSH6BG); the 9mm size (PCSH9BG).

A. P-clips are sized by closed diameter, and this one closes at 8mm - so it suits a pipe, hose or cable with a 8mm outside diameter. Measure the OD, not the bore; non-standard sizes are available from JCS on request. That is approximately 5/16 in, if you work in imperial.
A. It does two jobs: cushioning the line against vibration and stopping the band chafing what it holds. The TPE160 high-temperature liner is UV and ozone resistant, rated -50C to +160C.
A. Check your service temperature: the standard black TPE liner is rated -30C to +60C, while the grey TPE160 high-temperature liner is rated -50C to +160C. For engine bays and hot environments specify the high-temperature version.
A. Fixings are not included - pair the clip with your standard M6 hardware; the fixing hole is 6.6mm.
A. Pick by environment, not fit: 304 stainless for outdoor, wet or corrosive runs, zinc plated (coated even on the cut edges) for general indoor and light industrial work. The two are dimensionally identical, so the mounting never changes.
A. The liner is UV and ozone resistant, so sunlight does not degrade it, and the band comes in zinc plated or 304 stainless for outdoor duty - stainless where it stays wet. Size the clip to the outside diameter of the tube or pipe being fixed.
