A. The Sykes-Pickavant 53341000 polyurethane jaws are compatible with any 4-inch vice, including the Sykes-Pickavant Unbreakable Vice.
A. The jaws are made from polyurethane with small cross serrations. The material has a shore hardness of A82, which provides a firm grip whilst remaining flexible enough to return to its original shape after deformation.
A. No. The polyurethane construction bites onto the workpiece without damaging or scratching it. The material is flexible enough to conform to the workpiece and returns to its original shape after deformation.
A. The jaws are fitted with an extremely powerful neodymium magnetic strip that attaches directly to the vice jaws, allowing for rapid setup without tools or fasteners.
A. No. The magnetic strip is only magnetic against the vice jaws themselves. It will not attract debris or metal filings to the clamping surface, nor will it magnetise the clamped parts.
A. The holding force for the 100mm jaw is 3.5kg, equivalent to 34N.

A. Yes. The jaws can be used in combination with other types in the range. For example, for taper pins or thin-walled tubes, the Neutral or Prism/Vee Pipe jaw can be used together with the Rubber option. For irregularly profiled parts with one flat surface, the Fibre-covered jaw can be used on the flat surface and the rubber-covered jaw on the profiled side.
