A. No. The polyurethane material bites onto the workpiece without damaging or scratching it. The material is also flexible enough to return to its original shape after deformation.
A. The jaws are fitted with an extremely powerful neodymium magnetic strip that attaches directly to the vice jaws, allowing rapid setup without tools or fasteners.
A. No. The magnetic strip is only magnetic against the vice jaws. It will not attract debris or filings to the clamping surface, nor will it magnetise the clamped parts.
A. The holding force for a 100mm jaw is 3.5kg, equivalent to 34N.
A. Yes. The jaws can be combined with other types in the range. For example, for taper pins or thin-walled tubes, the Neutral or Prism/Vee Pipe jaw can be paired with the Rubber option. For irregularly profiled parts with one flat surface, the Fibre-covered jaw can be used on the flat side and the rubber-covered jaw on the profiled side.
