Unlike traditional thread restorers that rely on luck for the restored and undamaged threads to align, the MS003 uses a unique reverse-action design: the tool is passed through the plug thread into the combustion chamber, then expanded to the correct size beginning from the inner, undamaged threads and working outward. This approach ensures proper alignment between restored and undamaged threads. The tool measures 138mm in length. It is compatible with 14mm plug sizes across Denso (plug codes: J, P, PQ, Q, QJ, K, KJ, PK, PT, S, SF, SK/SVK, T, TR), NGK (B, BC, BK, BM_A, BPM_A), Bosch (F, H, K, V, W), and Champion (C, CJ, DJ, EC, FN, J, L, N, S, X) spark plugs. Note that for Denso, NGK, and Bosch plugs, the first letter(s) of the plug code indicates the thread size; for Champion plugs, the second letter(s) indicates the thread size.
