The Sealey AK310 15-piece metric re-threader kit lets you chase out damaged threads and remove nicks and burrs without undercutting good threads saving both the fastener and the component. The kit includes taps and dies in sizes 6x1, 8x1.25, 10x1.25, 10x1.5, 12x1.25, 12x1.5, and 12x1.75mm, plus a thread restorer file covering pitches of 0.75, 1, 1.25, 1.5, 1.75, 2, 2.5, and 3mm. The thread file restores damaged external threads on any diameter, right or left-hand simply select the correct pitch. Use the taps and dies with a standard spanner and a little light oil. Ideal for restoration work. Supplied in a storage case.
