External Torx fasteners demand a precision fit to avoid rounding, and the Draper Expert TX-STAR® 14-piece socket set is designed to meet that requirement across a broad range of drive sizes. Each socket is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel, hardened and tempered, and finished with a fully polished chrome plated finish that resists corrosion and aids cleaning. The set spans three square drive sizes to suit a wide variety of ratchets and drive tools already found in professional workshops. The 1/4" square drive sockets cover E4, E5, E6, E7 and E8. The 3/8" square drive sockets cover E10, E11, E12 and E14. The 1/2" square drive sockets cover E16, E18, E20, E22 and E24, providing reach into larger external Torx fixings commonly encountered on automotive and industrial assemblies. All 14 sockets are supplied on a socket retaining bar, keeping the set organised and preventing individual pieces from being misplaced in a busy workshop environment. Draper TX-STAR® products are compatible with Torx fixing systems.
