A. The 53301500 Neutral Magnetic Jaws are compatible with any 6-inch vice, including the Sykes-Pickavant Unbreakable Vice.
A. The jaws are manufactured from hardened aluminium alloy 6063, T66F25, with magnesium and silicon as alloying elements. This provides superior corrosion resistance and an excellent surface finish.
A. The jaws are fitted with an extremely powerful neodymium magnetic strip that attaches directly to the vice jaws, enabling rapid setup without tools or clamps.
A. No. The magnetic strip is only magnetic against the vice jaws themselves. It will not attract debris or metal filings to the clamping surface, and it will not magnetise the clamped parts.
A. The neodymium magnetic strip provides a holding force of 3.5 kg (equivalent to 34 N) for a 100 mm jaw, as stated by the manufacturer.

A. Yes. The jaws are designed to be used in combination with other types in the Sykes-Pickavant range. For example, for taper pins or thin-walled tubes, the Neutral jaw can be paired with the Rubber option. For irregularly profiled parts with one flat surface, the Fibre-covered jaw can be used on the flat side and the rubber-covered jaw on the profiled side.
