The Draper Expert 16331 TX-STAR® Socket Bit Set provides four 100 mm socket bits sized T40, T45, T55, and T70, covering the most demanding TX-STAR® fastener sizes encountered in automotive and industrial applications. Each socket body is manufactured from hardened and tempered chrome vanadium steel, chrome plated for added corrosion protection, and fitted with a knurled ring to ensure a positive, slip-free grip during use. The bit ends are formed from S2 silicon steel with a sand-blasted finish, a material chosen for its resistance to torsional stress in impact and breaker-bar applications. The set accepts a 1/2" square drive and the four sockets — T40, T45, T55, T70 — are supplied on a steel socket retaining rail that keeps the set organised and complete on the tool board or in a kit bag.
