Tamper-resistant TX-STAR® fixings demand the correct tooling, and this Draper Expert 7-piece security socket bit set provides precisely that for 1/2" square drive applications. Each of the seven bits is 48mm long and manufactured from hardened and tempered chrome vanadium steel, with sand-blasted S2 silicon steel bits that deliver the torsional strength needed on high-torque tamper-proof fasteners. A knurled ring on each socket provides a positive, secure grip when fitting or removing bits by hand, reducing the risk of fumbling in confined workshop spaces. The set covers seven TX-STAR® security sizes — T40T, T45T, T50T, T55T, T60T, T70T and T80T — making it well suited to automotive, industrial and workshop applications where tamper-proof Torx-pattern fasteners are commonly encountered. All seven sockets are supplied on a steel retaining rail that keeps the set organised and individual sizes easy to locate at a glance. Draper TX-STAR® products are compatible with Torx fixing systems.
