The blade is manufactured from SCVM steel, hardened, tempered and chemically blackened for durability and corrosion resistance. The tip is precision-machined for an exact fit to Pozidriv No.0 fasteners, reducing the risk of screw damage during use. At 60mm in blade length, it is suited to confined or detailed work. For electrical applications, the blade carries VDE insulation and has been individually tested to 10,000V, making it suitable for working on live circuits of up to 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. This individual testing protocol means each blade, not merely a sample batch, has been verified to the rated insulation standard before leaving the factory. The blade is supplied as a single interchangeable unit compatible with the Draper Expert 965 screwdriver range, allowing electricians and workshop professionals to switch tip types quickly while maintaining fully rated VDE protection throughout.
