Changing tyres on passenger and light commercial wheels demands equipment that combines clamping precision with the power to break even the most stubborn beads. The Draper Expert 81645 Semi Automatic Tyre Changer addresses this directly with a fully motorised turntable, pneumatically operated clamping jaws and a powerful pneumatic bead breaker capable of generating 2100kg of bead breaker force, enabling the changing of conventional tyres quickly and easily. The self-centring four-jaw chuck controlled by two clamping cylinders ensures wheel rims are correctly clamped at all times. Alloy rims are treated particularly gently as the mounting head is provided with plastic protectors and the bead breaker is fitted with a large anti-skid rubber pad that preserves both tyres and rims during operation. The machine handles internal locking for rim diameters from 13"" to 23"" and external locking from 11"" to 21"" with a wheel width range of 3"" to 14"" and a maximum tyre outside diameter of 40"" (1000mm). Power is supplied via a standard 13amp 3-pin plug at 230V with a 1.1kW motor and a pneumatic supply requirement of 90–115psi (6–8BAR). The mounting arm swings to the side allowing installation directly against a wall — a practical advantage for workshops with limited floor space. The machine weighs 180kg and measures 1740mm x 950mm x 760mm. Supplied complete with tyre lever filter regulator lubricator alloy rim protectors head tongue protectors inflation gun and air hose.
