The 5m sling features 150mm-wide polyester webbing with reinforced lifting eyes, designed to spread load evenly and reduce the risk of damage to lifted components. Safe working load (SWL) ratings are clearly defined: 5,000kg in a straight configuration with the load at one end, and 10,000kg when used in the 'U' configuration with the load positioned between the loop eyes. The sling is colour coded to European standards so capacity can be identified at a glance, reducing the chance of misuse in busy workshop environments. Supplied shrink wrapped for security, the sling arrives display packed and ready to put to work. This product is sold as a single unit: one Wide Load Sling, 5m x 150mm, rated to 5 tonne.
