The safe working load (SWL) is rated at 5,000kg in a straight configuration, with one end bearing the load, and increases to 10,000kg when the load is suspended between the loop eyes in a 'U' configuration. The sling measures 3 metres in length, providing useful reach for vehicle recovery, workshop lifting, and general industrial applications where a wide-bearing surface is required to protect the load.
