The sling is rated to a safe working load (SWL) of 5,000kg in straight configuration, with a load applied at one end. When rigged in a 'U' configuration — with the load suspended between the loop eyes — the SWL increases to 10,000kg. Colour coding conforms to European standards, enabling straightforward visual identification of load capacity on site and in busy workshop environments. Manufactured to BS EN1492, the sling meets the requirements of this British and European standard for textile lifting slings. At 2 metres in length and 150mm in width, it is suited to wide, stable load distribution across vehicle and industrial lifting applications. The product is supplied shrink wrapped for security and presented in display packaging.
