The Draper 61337 Wide Load Sling addresses this with a 120mm-wide polyester webbing construction and reinforced lifting eyes, giving handlers a broad bearing surface that distributes load contact more effectively than narrower strops. The sling offers two rated configurations. In a straight configuration with the load at one end, the safe working load (SWL) is 4,000 kg. When the sling is used in a 'U' configuration with the load suspended between the loop eyes, the SWL rises to 8,000 kg. Both ratings are established under BS EN1492, the British and European standard governing flat woven webbing slings. Colour coding to European standards allows the capacity to be identified at a glance, an important safety feature in busy workshop or vehicle recovery environments. The sling is supplied shrink-wrapped for security and comes display packed. Contents: 1 x Wide Load Sling, 2 m x 120 mm, 4 Tonne.
