Heavy-duty fasteners demand sockets built to absorb repeated impact forces without deforming or shattering. The Draper HI-TORQ® 6 Point Deep Impact Socket (SKU 5139) meets that requirement through a forging process using chrome molybdenum steel that is hardened and tempered to withstand the high-torque output of air, electric, or manual impact wrenches driven by a 1" square drive. The 6-point socket geometry provides full contact across each flat of the fastener head, reducing the risk of rounding under load. The deep profile accommodates longer or recessed fastener stems that a standard-depth socket cannot reach. A black phosphate finish — achieved through chemical blacking — provides a layer of corrosion protection across the socket body, helping to maintain condition in workshop and industrial environments. Each socket is supplied complete with a pin and ring retention system, securing the socket to the drive during use. Draper HI-TORQ® is a registered trademark of Draper Tools Ltd. This socket is packed in a polythene bag with barcode. Note: Only impact-rated sockets and accessories are suitable for use with air or electric powered impact wrenches. Chrome vanadium steel sockets must never be used with powered impact tools as they can shatter and cause serious personal injury.
