The 6 point socket geometry delivers full-face contact on fastener flats, reducing the risk of rounding under high-torque impact loads. The deep profile accommodates extended or recessed fixings that a standard-depth socket cannot reach, making it well suited to automotive, workshop, and industrial applications. This socket is designed for use with air, electric, or manual impact wrenches. As noted in the product safety guidance, only impact-rated sockets and accessories should be used with air or electric powered wrenches — standard silver chrome vanadium sockets must never be used in this application, as they can shatter and cause personal injury.
