The Sealey AK3076 provides a comprehensive 76-piece metric tap and die set covering both coarse and fine thread sizes, giving workshops and engineers the tools to repair damaged threads or cut fresh ones accurately. The split dies feature machined lead-ins for ease of starting, and the die holder incorporates a self-centring mechanism to ensure straight, accurate thread cutting every time. The set includes intermediate and plug taps for complete thread preparation. Coarse taps and dies run from M3 x 0.5 through to M12 x 1.75mm; fine sizes from M2 x 0.25 through to M12 x 1.25mm. A 1/8" BSP taper and plug tap and die are also included. Supporting tools comprise a T-handled tap wrench, standard tap wrench, die holder, metric screw pitch gauge, slotted 5mm screwdriver, and 17 HSS drill bits sized 1.7mm to 10.7mm. The complete set is supplied in a storage case.
