Recovering a stuck ATV or quad bike without a reliable winch or without being able to stand clear of the load puts both operator and vehicle at risk. The Sealey ATV2040KIT Wireless Winch Combo Kit addresses both problems. Designed and built with the toughest jobs in mind, it delivers 2040kg (4500lb) of line pull powered by a high-power 2.5kW (3.25hp) 12V DC motor with permanent magnet for first-class pulling performance. The wireless remote control features a 4-pin plug-and-play receiver that works with all makes of winch, allowing the operator to stand well clear of the load or remain in the cab where conditions allow significantly improving safety. A unique automatic spring brake ensures reliable performance under full load, while 3-stage planetary gears with a 180:1 gear ratio provide controlled pulling power. The high-quality wire rope feeds through a 4-way roller fairlead, and the motor and gearbox carry an IP67 rating for all-weather reliability. A sliding ring gear clutch and heavy-duty all-weather housing complete the package. Line speed is 4.5m/min at no load and 1.3m/min at maximum load, with current draw of 30A at no load and 185A at maximum load. Performance figures are quoted at the first layer of cable on the drum.
