Tyre inflation accuracy and compliance matter in professional workshop environments. The PCL D12SS50C is a wall-mounted digital tyre inflator from PCL's ACCURA range, calibrated to 0–145 psi / 0–10 bar and designed for professional tyre shop applications including commercial and retail tyre shops, mobile tyre fleets, automotive OEMs, garages, car dealers and transport depots. The D12SS50C features a digital display with 1 psi / 0.1 bar resolution and meets BS EN 12645-2014 accuracy standards. A 7.6 m hose with single clip-on tyre valve connection provides reach across the bay. The unit accepts a maximum inlet pressure of 218 psi / 15 bar and delivers a flow rate of 2,500 l/min at 10 bar supply, supporting fast inflation times. The operating temperature range is –20°C to 70°C. Approvals include German PTB 18.08/04.01 (Single and Dual Screen), French F-06-H-157 (Dual Screen) and Portuguese 245.30.04.3.14 (Single Screen). Tyre shop-specific software includes a default-to-last setting, over pressure mode with bead seat over pressure facility (OPS), nitrogen (N2) purge capability, and auto-start inflation. PCL state these features are designed to provide consistent efficient safe air inflation services and to reduce tyre inflation costs through more efficient use of tyre engineers and equipment. PCL have manufactured precision inflation and measurement equipment in Sheffield since 1938 and are part of HORNGROUP.
