Lightweight and portable, the TE3 is used to check the calibration of all types of tyre inflation equipment, and is supplied with its own calibration certificate. The rechargeable unit is housed in a robust and durable protective case to prevent damage, whilst the 21 mm backlit LCD provides clearer and more concise readings than those of an analogue gauge. At its core is a 4-litre receiver manufactured in accordance with 2009/105/EC, and the unit offers a resettable zero point for reliable repeat testing. Calibration spans 0-12.2 bar / 0-1220 kPa / 0-176 psi with a resolution of 0.01 bar / 1 kPa / 0.1 psi, and accuracy class is 1/4 of EN 12645:2014 — comfortably tighter than the standard the equipment under test must meet. Battery powered with a battery charger included, the TE3 moves easily between sites and bays, making routine calibration checks of forecourt towers, tyreshop inflators and handheld gauges a simple, documented process.
