The N72SAGC2 is the NEXUS N72 Portable Nitrogen Generator Cart — a rechargeable, self-contained unit built in Sheffield that supersedes the original NEXUS range and combines PCL's digital pressure control technology with membrane nitrogen generation technology. The NEXUS N72 is described by PCL as just half the size of comparable units, making it well suited to tyre shop and industrial applications where space and manoeuvrability matter. The unit is powered by a 12 V rechargeable battery (7 A) and can also be recharged from mains power at either 110 V or 230 V, giving genuine flexibility across different workshop environments. The system operates quietly at 65 dBa and delivers nitrogen via a 2 × 10% purge-and-fill conversion method. Technically, the N72SAGC2 delivers a flow rate of 5 m³/h (83 l/min) at 10 bar, with a minimum input requirement of 8 cfm (226 l/min). Maximum inflation set pressure is 145 psi / 10 bar / 999 kPa. Accuracy is to ±0.5% of full scale reading, which PCL state exceeds the EN 12645:2014 standard. Operating temperature range is 0 °C to 40 °C, with a storage range of −40 °C to 70 °C. Cabinet dimensions are 1029 mm (H) × 535 mm (W) × 647 mm (D), with a weight of 50–70 kg depending on model configuration. The N72SAGC2 is part of the NEXUS N72 series; other models in the range are available to suit differing flow-rate and application requirements. PCL is part of HORNGROUP.
