Pump seals — the classic wear point. A truck that creeps down while loaded, needs excessive strokes to lift, or weeps oil at the ram has tired hydraulics, and seal service or a pump unit restores it. The other serviceable wear is the wheels and bushes, which announce themselves in the steering.

Rate against the heaviest pallet honestly handled, plus margin — and remember the figure is the truck's rating, not an invitation. The price step to 2,500kg is small, the headroom is useful, and an overloaded truck wears its hydraulics and bends its forks quietly until it fails loudly.
