Securing tools at height demands reliable, tested equipment, and the KNIPEX 00 50 03 T BK Carabiner is engineered specifically for tool protection rather than personal safety. Each carabiner has undergone numerous drop tests to confirm a holding capacity of up to 6 kg, covering most hand tools and battery-operated tools commonly used in elevated working environments such as industrial climbing, arborist operations, rescue services, and marine applications. The Twistlock mechanism prevents unintentional opening during use, while a mushroom head lock further increases tensile strength. A snapper opening of 16 mm allows swift attachment, and a maximum static load capacity of 2 kN in the longitudinal direction when locked ensures dependable performance under working loads. An integrated pin creates an eyelet for a permanent connection between the equipment carabiner and a lanyard or adapter strap. Constructed from high-strength aluminium, the carabiner combines robustness with low weight — an important consideration when working at height for extended periods. Each pack contains two carabiners and two security pins, providing a complete ready-to-use solution. Important: this product carries no PPE classification and is not suitable for personal safety or fall-arrest applications. It is designed solely for tool tethering in compliance with working-at-height regulations.
