The helmet switches fully automatically from light to dark on striking an arc, with an operating time of 0.1ms, keeping your eyes protected at all times. The inactive shade is 4, giving clear vision when at rest. The S01001 is solar powered no batteries or charging required. Adjustable sensitivity and delay controls allow fine-tuning of the switching response to suit your environment. The contoured helmet design features a fully adjustable headband for comfort during extended use, with a viewing area of 92 x 42mm. Operating temperature range is -5°C to +55°C.
