Pressing operations demand a stable, accurate and controllable force, and the Draper 70538 hydraulic bench press delivers precisely that with a 10 tonne capacity and a sliding ram that gives confident, repeatable results across a wide range of workshop tasks. The unit features four adjustable table heights — 110, 195, 280 and 365mm — allowing the working position to be set to suit the component being pressed, while the 175mm ram stroke and 40mm ram diameter provide the reach and contact area required for most bench-press applications. At the heart of the gauging system is a glycerine liquid-filled pressure gauge with a 105mm diameter dial and a 0–16 tonne range, which provides increased accuracy and prolonged service life compared with dry gauges. The detachable hand pump can be secured either to the press frame or to the bench itself, keeping the workspace tidy and the operator in full control. An anti-kink coil is fitted to each end of the flexible hose for increased protection against wear and damage during operation. Safety provisions include a factory-fitted safety valve that prevents the press from overloading, and the unit is supplied fully tested and certified for safe, reliable operation. A working table width of 335mm accommodates a broad range of components, and the press stands 1,058mm overall. At 55kg, it is a substantial bench-mounted tool. Two flat V-shaped blocks are included in the package.
