Two sprung clamps hold the workpiece securely in position, eliminating unwanted movement and helping to maintain clean, precise angles every time. The box provides 45°, 22.5° and 90° cutting guides on both edges, with an additional side-mounted 45° guide designed to accommodate larger sections of material. This combination of guide angles makes the 9789 suitable for a broad range of straight and angled sawing tasks in wood and similar materials. Two bench-edge stops on the underside prevent the box from shifting during use, and the base features two countersunk slots for those who prefer to fix the unit permanently to a workbench. Internal dimensions are 367 x 116 x 70 mm. Supplied as a single unit.
