The ring ends are offset at 45 degrees, providing the necessary clearance to work in recessed or awkward positions where a flat ring would be impractical. This offset geometry is characteristic of the deep crank design, making the spanner particularly suited to tasks requiring access below obstructions or around raised surfaces. Manufactured to DIN 838 and ISO 3318 specifications, this spanner meets recognised international standards for ring spanners.
