The Draper HI-TORQ® Metric Reversible Ratchet Combination Spanner Set (12 Piece) addresses this directly through a 90-tooth ratchet mechanism built into the cranked ring end, delivering just 4° of movement per tooth — sufficient to drive fasteners in restricted access points where a conventional spanner would stall. Each spanner is forged from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered, fully polished and mirror chrome plated, providing corrosion protection suited to demanding workshop and automotive environments. The open end is offset at 15°, and the ring end features a 15° cranked head. A forward and reverse direction lever on the ring end allows the user to switch drive direction without removing the spanner from the fastener, saving considerable time on repetitive assembly and disassembly work. The 12-point HI-TORQ® ring profile is designed to transfer torque to the flats of a fastener rather than its corners, maximising leverage and reducing the risk of rounding or slipping under load.
