Working in environments where conventional chrome-finished tools pose a chemical exposure risk demands a dedicated solution. The Draper 37535 Single Open End Spanner in 32mm is forged from chrome vanadium steel, then hardened and tempered for durability, with a black phosphate finish applied in place of chrome plate. This makes it especially suitable for use in areas where chemicals and chrome plate can give off poisonous fumes — a key consideration for professional workshops, laboratories, and chemical processing environments. The head is set at a 15° angle to improve access in confined spaces, and a raised collar surrounds the jaw to reinforce the working end under load. The black phosphate surface provides corrosion resistance without the chemical hazards associated with standard chrome-finished spanners. Supplied as a single 32mm open end spanner, this tool is suited to heavy-duty fastener work where jaw size and material integrity are the primary requirements. The combination of chrome vanadium steel construction, specialist finish, and considered head geometry makes this spanner a reliable choice for professionals who cannot compromise on material safety in their working environment.
Forged from chrome vanadium steel with head angle set at 15°. Raised collar around jaw. Hardened, tempered and black phosphate finish. Especially suitable for use in areas where chemicals and chrome plate can give off poisonous fumes.
