Compression nuts on petrol and diesel injection pipes, hydraulic, gas, and refrigeration systems demand a spanner with a closed profile that grips without slipping under high torque — the Elora Metric Flare Nut Spanner in 11 x 13mm is purpose-built for exactly that role. The spanner is manufactured from chrome vanadium steel that has been hardened, tempered, and chrome plated to deliver corrosion resistance and long service life in workshop environments. The jaws are set at 15 degrees to the shaft, providing clearance access in confined engine bays and tight pipework installations where a straight spanner would be obstructed. The flare nut profile wraps around the fastener on multiple flats, reducing the risk of rounding compression nuts that are often corroded or overtightened. Manufactured to DIN 3118 specifications, this spanner meets recognised dimensional and quality standards for professional use. Supplied as a single loose spanner sized 11 x 13mm, it is well suited to technicians working on fuel injection systems, refrigeration pipework, and hydraulic lines who require a reliable dedicated tool rather than a general-purpose open-end spanner.
Professional Quality, manufactured from chrome vanadium steel hardened, tempered and chrome plated for corrosion protection. Jaws set at 15°. For use on compression nuts fitted on petrol and diesel injection pipes, hydraulic gas or refrigeration systems.
