Combination spanners that must cope with confined fastener access benefit from precisely angled ends, and the Draper Expert HI-TORQ® Metric Coloured Combination Spanner Set (23017) delivers exactly that. The HI-TORQ® ring end is cranked at 15° to clear obstructions around bolt heads, while the open end is set at 15° to maximise purchase in tight spaces — both angles working in combination to reduce slippage and improve torque transfer. Each spanner is forged from chrome vanadium steel, then hardened, tempered and finished with coloured chrome plating. The colour-coding system assigns a distinct colour to each size, enabling rapid identification and reducing bench time when switching between fasteners. The finish protects against corrosion in workshop environments. The set covers 13 sizes across a 6 mm to 19 mm range: 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 19 mm. All 13 spanners are generally in accordance with DIN Specifications, confirming dimensional consistency across the set. Spanners are supplied on a wall-mountable plastic storage rack that keeps the full set organised, visible and accessible at the workstation.
