Achieving a reliable grip on fasteners demands a spanner that resists rounding and corrosion under workshop conditions. The Draper 84779 Expert Combination Spanner in 12mm is forged from chrome vanadium steel, then hardened, tempered and chrome plated to provide lasting corrosion protection in demanding environments. The polished Draper HI-TORQ® ring end is offset at 15° to improve knuckle clearance and allow use in confined spaces while the open jaw end is also set at 15° for the same ergonomic advantage. Together these offsets allow the spanner to be flipped between ends to advance a fastener in restricted access situations where swing arc is limited. The ring end design conforms generally to DIN 3113 specifications providing a recognised standard of dimensional accuracy and strength for professional use. Supplied as a single 12mm combination spanner this tool is suited to automotive engineering and general workshop applications where a precision-ground corrosion-resistant spanner of this size is required.
