The rosin flux core is integrated within the solder wire itself, eliminating the need for separately applied flux in most standard applications and ensuring a consistent flux-to-metal ratio with each pass. At 1.2mm diameter, the wire is suited to a broad range of hand-soldering tasks where a mid-gauge wire provides good control and adequate filler volume. The solder is supplied in reel form and is lead free, making it compliant with lead-free soldering requirements. Note that this product is not for use in potable water systems. The 250g reel provides a practical working quantity for bench use or ongoing workshop tasks.
