Portable gas-powered soldering work demands a reliable, self-contained heat source that can be taken to the job without the constraint of a mains lead. The Draper 78774 Butane Soldering Iron meets that need with instant electronic ignition, eliminating the need for matches or a separate lighter to get started. Variable flame control allows the operator to adjust heat output to suit the task, while the refillable tank accepts standard butane lighter fuel — one fill delivering up to 20 minutes of continuous work at mid setting (approximate figure). At 147mm in length, the tool is designed for compact, single-hand operation, making it straightforward to use in confined spaces or on the bench. The refillable design reduces the need to carry spare fuel canisters for typical short-duration tasks. Supplied as a single butane soldering iron, the Draper 78774 is suited to soldering, heat-shrink work, and similar applications where a portable flame source is required. Standard butane lighter fuel is used for refilling.
Features instant electronic ignition, variable flame control and a refillable tank. Compact single hand operation. One fill of standard butane lighter fuel will give up to 20 minutes (approx.) continuous work (at mid setting).
