Impact drivers place extreme demands on screwdriver bits, causing conventional bits to cam out, strip fixings, and wear prematurely. These Draper Expert No.2 PZ-type impact screwdriver bits are specifically designed for use with an impact driver, meeting those demands through a combination of material quality, geometry, and torsion engineering. Each bit is manufactured from S2 steel that has been correctly hardened and tempered, giving the material the toughness needed for durability and long life under high-impact loads. The shock-absorbing torsion design increases torque performance by allowing the bit to flex and absorb the rotational shock generated by the driver, rather than transferring it directly to the tip or the fixing. The tips are precision ground to prevent cam out and screw damage, a critical feature when working at the higher torques associated with impact driving. The 1/4" hex shank features a blackened finish with a shot blast surface, and carries highly visible laser-etched size markings for rapid identification in a busy workshop environment. Each pack contains five No.2 x 25mm PZ-type bits on a 1/4" hex shank. PZ-type bits are compatible with Pozidriv®/Supadriv® fixing systems.
