Workshop fasteners with TX-STAR® profiles demand bits that can withstand the torque applied through a 1/2" square drive without rounding or fracturing. The Draper TX-STAR® Bit Set (83562) addresses this requirement with 10mm bits manufactured from silicon steel that has been hardened, tempered, and given a shot blast finish for durability and a secure grip in the fastener recess. The set includes six Draper TX-STAR® bits — T20 T25 T30 T40 T45 and T50 — each 30mm long alongside a longer T55 bit at 75mm for reaching recessed fixings. Drive engagement is provided by a dedicated 10mm x 1/2"" square drive bit holder machined from chrome vanadium steel which has been hardened tempered and chrome plated to resist corrosion in workshop environments. Draper TX-STAR® products are compatible with Torx fixing systems making this set suited to a wide range of automotive and industrial assembly tasks where these profiles are encountered. The bit holder mates directly with any standard 1/2"" square drive ratchet or breaker bar. The set is display packed keeping all eight pieces organised and protected between uses
