Getting clean, accurate crosscuts and mitre cuts across a range of materials demands a saw with the power, precision and flexibility to handle varied workloads. The Sealey SMS255 Sliding Compound Mitre Saw delivers exactly that, driven by a 2000W motor with a no-load speed of 5000rpm and a maximum blade speed of 7000rpm. The 255 x 2.8 x 30mm 40-tooth TCT blade is fitted as standard for fresh wood cutting, while the optional SMS255B multipurpose blade (250 x 2.4mm/30mm, 60tpu) allows the saw to cut mild steel, aluminium and wood with nails. Maximum cross cut capacity at 0° bevel and 0° table is 90 x 315mm, with mitre cuts at 0° bevel and 45° table reaching 90 x 215mm, and bevel cuts at 45° bevel and 0° table reaching 40 x 215mm. Positive mitre locks engage at 0°, 15°, 22.5°, 31.6° and 45° both left and right for repeatable accuracy, and the integrated laser guide helps produce precise cuts consistently. The sliding rails can be locked at different lengths to give greater control over cut length. Supplied complete with workpiece clamp, dust extraction bag and two extension rails. The dust extraction port accepts hoses with an internal diameter of 35mm or external diameter of 43mm. A carry handle is fitted for easy transportation between job sites. Supply is 230V.
