Professional woodworking demands precise, repeatable cuts across multiple planes — and the Draper Expert 79901 Double Bevel Sliding Compound Mitre Saw is engineered to meet that requirement. Rated at 2000W and accepting a 305mm (12") blade with a 30mm bore, it delivers the power and rigidity required for demanding cross-cutting, mitre, bevel and compound cutting tasks in workshop and trade environments. The double bevel capability allows the operator to tilt the blade head to both left and right, enabling compound cuts without repositioning the workpiece. A laser cutting guide supports accurate line-following, whilst the integral dust extraction helps maintain a clean working environment and clear sightlines to the cut. A depth stop, stop bar and vice clamp further extend cutting control and repeatability. Cut capacity figures are as follows: cross cut 105 x 340mm; mitre cut 105 x 235mm; left bevel cut 60 x 340mm; right bevel cut 40 x 340mm; left compound cut 60 x 235mm; right compound cut 40 x 235mm. The blade runs at 4500r/min and the saw weighs 21.3kg. The table base and side extension wings are constructed from diecast aluminium, providing a stable and durable platform. Supplied complete with a 40-tooth T.C.T. saw blade, a cable and approved plug, making the unit ready for immediate use.
