Accurate angle and mitre cutting of picture frames, architraves, and similar workpieces demands a reliable, well-equipped bench saw — and the Draper 21627 Precision Mitre Saw is built to meet that requirement. The saw features a plastic handle and a 14 tpi wood cutting blade measuring 550 mm in length and 45 mm in width, mounted on a solid one-piece diecast aluminium saw table measuring 400 mm in length. Four solid chrome-plated guide rods provide stable, controlled blade travel, with an adjustable length stop offering a maximum reach of 440 mm. A material vice clamp secures workpieces during cutting, and an additional vice clamp is supplied specifically for use with shorter workpieces. A cutting depth regulator and scale on the base allow the operator to set and repeat precise depths. The saw handles a maximum cutting width of 125 mm when clamped at 90°, 115 mm when clamped at 45°, and up to 170 mm unclamped at 90°, with a maximum cutting height of 100 mm. Gross weight is 8.5 kg. Supplied in a display carton.
