Electricians working on or near live circuits require tools that provide both reliable insulation and clear warning of any damage. The Draper Expert XP1000® VDE Screwdriver and Pliers Set (10 Piece) addresses this need with a carefully selected combination of screwdrivers and pliers built to exacting standards for professional electrical work. The seven screwdrivers feature patented dual-layer insulated sheaths that make any damage highly visible, offering an immediate safety indication before work begins. Ergonomic soft-grip bi-material handles allow free spinning in the palm for rapid screw tightening, while still transferring torque when required. Flat sides prevent the screwdrivers from rolling on surfaces, and precision-machined tips ensure an exact fit to protect screw heads from damage. The three pliers — a 160mm side cutter, 200mm combination pliers, and 200mm long nose pliers — are manufactured from premium steel forged in Germany. Induction-hardened jaws deliver effortless clean cutting and long-term performance. Two-part bi-material ergonomic soft-grip handles with horns prevent slipping onto live conductors. Each plier is individually tested to 10,000V and is suitable for working on live circuits of 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC. The set includes three plain slot screwdrivers (2.5 x 75mm, 4.0 x 100mm, 5.5 x 125mm), two PZ type screwdrivers (No.1 x 80mm, No.2 x 100mm), two cross slot screwdrivers (No.1 x 80mm, No.2 x 100mm), one 160mm side cutter, one 200mm combination pliers, and one 200mm long nose pliers. A lifetime warranty is included.
