Working safely on live electrical installations demands tools that meet the highest insulation standards. The KNIPEX 14 26 160 SB VDE Fully Insulated Diagonal Wire Strippers and Cutters are tested to 10,000V and insulated to 1,000V AC and 1,500V DC, making them suitable for live line working and manufactured to DIN ISO 5749 specifications with testing to EN 60900. The tool is equipped with two precision stripping holes sized for single (solid) conductors of 1.5 mm² and 2.5 mm², allowing accurate, clean insulation removal on the most commonly encountered cable gauges in fixed electrical installations. The chrome-plated head features oil-hardened cutting edges hardened to 60HRC, ensuring durability and consistent performance through repeated use. The comfortable soft-grip insulated handles incorporate slip guards to provide additional security during operation, reducing the risk of accidental contact or loss of control when working in confined or awkward positions. The tool is display packed and supplied as a single unit: 1 x KNIPEX 14 26 160 SB VDE Fully Insulated Diagonal Wire Strippers and Cutters.
