Internal circlip pliers with a 90° tip angle are an essential workshop tool when circlips must be engaged in confined spaces or at an angle inaccessible to straight-nose pliers. The Draper 56417 addresses this challenge with a purpose-built geometry that allows the tips to reach deep bores and recessed grooves where a straight instrument cannot seat reliably. Constructed from chrome nickel steel, the pliers are hardened and tempered throughout and finished with a polished surface for corrosion resistance. The tips receive a chemical blacking treatment that reduces glare and provides additional surface protection in demanding workshop conditions. This combination of material specification and finish reflects an industrial quality standard suited to professional and trade use. The handles are fitted with non-slip cushion-grip material, providing secure control during the compression and insertion of internal circlips. The overall tool length is 215 mm.
